San Miguel de Allende has an eclectic mix of restaurants. Due to its large, international artist community, chefs are drawn to this diverse culture, from all over the world. Also if you are an aspiring chef or a curious cook, there are many renowned, cooking schools here, to explore.

In San Miguel there is something for every palate and budget. From five star restaurants to taco stands. Vegetarians, don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed!

San Miguel offers numerous, alfresco dining experiences such as the cafes and restaurants that surround the Parroquia and Central Jardin. They offer a perfect way, for you to spend a lazy afternoon or late evening, people watching while enjoying; Mexican hot chocolates, espressos or full meals. If you are in San Miguel during one of their festivals, be sure to grab one of these outdoor tables, you won’t be disappointed!

Some of the restaurants, are tucked into the hidden gardens and inner patios, where you are surrounded by tropical plants and bubbling fountains. You truly feel as if you are in heaven!

After enjoying an afternoon of wandering through the galleries, you may want to stop at one of the local wine bars for a leisurely glass of wine and tapas. You just might run into one of the your favorite artists!
